The Kamitatu Farm School
Tifie’s relief efforts also include the renewal of school facilities at the Kamitatu Farm in the outskirts of Kinshasa, DRC.
Before our involvement, the school had a rudimentary structure and leaky roof, limiting classes during the rainy season. Since 2007, we have built a new roof on a solid structure. We are also working on providing new desks, doors, chalkboards, teaching aids, and materials. In addition, we are providing new paint for the classroom, as well as solar-powered lighting.
